Zoho Writer has similar applications as Google Docs. I had the opportunity to work with Google docs over the summer on a group project. At first it was uncomfortable, but as the week passed on and I was able to work in the "live" document, it became more comfortable. I see several advantages to a tool like this:
1. Collaborative work is much easier.
2. Editing and revising collaborative work is immeidate.
3. Changes can be viewd immediately after changes are made.
4. They can be shared publicly.
5. You have choices on how to save the document.
I am learning about this document and see it as valuable tool in my toolbox.
